Veronica was born in Chile where she studied Early Childhood Education at the Catholic University in Santiago Chile, before arriving in Perth in 1987, at age 22. In 2000 she obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia. Veronica completed the Legal Workshop at the University of Canberra and returned to Perth in 2001. Between 2001 and 2004, Veronica worked for private small legal firms. Then, between 2004 and 2017, she was employed by Dwyer Durack. Since 2017, Veronica has run a family law boutique firm working as a sole practitioner. Recently, Veronica obtained a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from the Harvard Business School. Veronica’s main field of work has been family law, with a special interest in children issues and assisting parties to reach agreements in the most cost effective way.
